Originally from Chicago and raised in Wisconsin, Sharon trained at Lakeland Medical Dental Academy in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Since moving to North Carolina in 1996, she’s enjoyed applying her years of experience as a dental assistant to provide care that patients trust. When she’s not in scrubs helping our patients, she loves engaging in outdoor activities, socializing with friends, and staying active through exercise!

Boasting 20 years as a dental assistant, Lauren is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and creating a comfortable environment for each visit. Her professional pride lies in enhancing dental experiences in a positive manner. Away from work, Lauren seeks outdoor adventures and cherishes travel, always aiming to create lasting memories with her loved ones!

Dental Hygienist
With nearly a quarter-century at our practice and over 27 years as a Dental Hygienist, Sara’s favorite aspect of her job here is the trust and relationships she’s developed with our patients. She and her husband of 25 years are proud parents of two daughters, Olivia & Grace. While Olivia is exploring life in Brooklyn, NY, Grace is concluding her senior year at the University of South Carolina. Sara is an avid baker and cook who loves outdoor activities and passionately supports the Gamecocks!

Dental Hygienist
Jennifer is one of our dedicated Dental Hygienists. Since graduating from Central Piedmont in 1986, she’s been selflessly servicing patients throughout her career. Residing in Lexington with her husband, she’s a proud parent to career-oriented children and an even prouder grandparent to wonderful grandbabies! When not in the office, she’s out camping, hiking, or enjoying the beach—family time is her paradise!

Patient Coordinator
With over 35 years of experience in the dental field, Tami is an expert in patient coordination, handling everything from scheduling to insurance claims and billing. Originally from Savannah, GA, she moved to Lexington, NC in 1998 where she continues to enrich our practice with her deep knowledge and southern charm. Tami’s passions include traveling, watching sports, quilting, and cinematic adventures. She loves her outdoor walks with her Airedoodle, Gus, and values her family time immensely!
Meghan
Patient Coordinator
Since relocating to North Carolina in 2019, Meghan has embraced the role of scheduling coordinator at our office. Greeting you with a warm smile when you walk in, she thrives on building strong relationships with our patients and ensuring their visits are seamless and positive. Outside the office, she loves traveling and social gatherings with friends, but her true joy comes from spending quality time with her family!
Cameron
Regional Manager
Cameron is our Regional Manager and has been in the dental field for around 14 years. Her favorite part of dentistry is educating patients and making them feel comfortable and at ease! She was a dental assistant for many years before going into management and enjoyed designing same day crowns the most! In her spare time Cameron loves hanging out with her husband and son, riding their golf cart or spending time outdoors. They have dogs, a cat and even a pet pig!

Registered Dental Hygienist
Tammie is a Registered Dental Hygienist who has worked in the dental field for over thirty years. She has a passion for developing lasting relationships with her patients to develop the highest standard of care. Through a combination of expertise continuing education training she has an emphasis on systemic health and at home oral care and nutrition. Hobbies she enjoys are golfing, working out and staying active with her family and friends. She strives to make a lasting positive impact on the well being of the people she serves.

Registered Dental Hygienist
Susan has over 30 years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist and is licensed in administering local anesthetics. Susan has the highest standard of care, educating patients about their overall dental health and ways to improve their smiles with the latest technology. She values patient relationships. Susan enjoys traveling with her family and friends to the beach and mountains.

Kenzie – I am a dental assistant and have been with Relax Dental since 2022. I have one dog named Jagger who is just like my kid! In my free time I love to be outdoors, I like to travel, and spending time with my family and friends

Hey, I’m Michelle. I’ve been a dental assistant since 1999. I enjoy connecting with patients and making their dental experience comfortable. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Michael. We have 3 children and 1 fur baby. Our daughter plays travel softball, so that keeps our lives busy.

Insurance Coordinator
Dylan is our full-time insurance coordinator. She is a compassionate individual with a deep love for animals, often spending quality time caring for her pets. She shares a joyful life with her devoted husband and cherished daughter, who bring warmth and laughter to her days. With over a decade of experience in the dental field, she has honed her expertise through more than two years as a dental assistant and over five years as a skilled insurance coordinator, demonstrating dedication and professionalism in every role.

Patient Care Coordinator
Heather works at Relax Dental as our patient care coordinator. She has 7 years of dental experience and comes to us with clinical and administrative skills. She graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in 2018 with a degree in Dental Assisting. Her favorite part of working at Relax Dental is the personal relationships she makes with each patient. All our patients are like family to her. She is the mother of two girls and a baby boy. In her spare time see enjoys spending time with her family, singing and playing softball.
Cathy
Registered Dental Hygienist
Cathy has been an integral part of our team since 2004, providing gentle, expert care as a seasoned dental hygienist. Originally from Spokane, she graduated from Eastern Washington University with a BS in Dental Hygiene in 1996. While Cathy has lived in various parts of the country, she has called Davie County, NC, home since 2003.
Outside of work, Cathy is a proud mom of three, and family time keeps her busy. She also enjoys the great outdoors, whether it’s relaxing at the beach, hiking in the mountains, or getting her hands dirty in the garden. Over the years, Cathy has built lasting relationships with her patients, who she considers an extension of her own family. She looks forward to welcoming you to our practice and helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile. ✨🦷

Registered Dental Hygienist
Meagan, a Registered Dental Hygienist, earned her Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from Forsyth Technical Community College in June 2019. With a solid background as a Dental Assistant for four years before becoming a hygienist, Meagan brings a wealth of experience to her role. She is passionate about her career and dedicated to delivering top-notch care while creating a friendly and positive environment for her patients.
Meagan builds strong relationships with her patients, encouraging them to maintain good oral health practices outside of the office. In her free time, Meagan enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves reading, traveling, and being active in both her church and community. Meagan looks forward to helping you achieve a healthy and confident smile!
Kaylyn
Scheduling Coordinator
Kaylyn joined our team in February 2024, and she’s often the first welcoming smile you’ll see when you walk through our doors. In addition to greeting patients, you’ll also find her assisting chairside during dental appointments. A 2017 graduate of the GTCC Dental Assisting Program, Kaylyn has experience in both pediatric and general dentistry and truly loves both areas. Whether coordinating your appointments or assisting clinically, she is dedicated to providing exceptional care and dental education to help you achieve your best smile and boost your confidence.
When she’s not in the office, Kaylyn enjoys quality time with her husband, Jason, their children, Leeam and Natalyn, and their two dogs, Milo and Oakley. Kaylyn looks forward to welcoming you and making every visit a positive experience!

Patient Coordinator
Nicole is one of the friendly faces you’ll see when you walk through our doors! As a Patient Coordinator, she loves helping patients feel welcomed, informed, and at ease. She graduated from dental assisting school in 2019, and her clinical background gives her a unique understanding of patient needs, scheduling flow, and how to keep each day running efficiently.
When she’s not at the office, Nicole enjoys working out, relaxing at the lake or beach, and spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends.

Tammie is an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant with over 30 years of experience. She is passionate about creating a comfortable, welcoming environment where patients feel at ease from the moment they walk in. A graduate of Keystone Technical Institute in Pennsylvania, Tammie specializes in chairside support and general dentistry. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family.
Luna
Lovable Mascot
Luna, the lovable black Goldendoodle, is more than just a dog — she’s an essential part of our dental office family! As our mascot, she warmly greets patients and offers comfort, making every visit a little brighter. Outside of the office, Luna is a spirited adventurer who loves chasing squirrels and rabbits. She’s also a nap queen and is rarely seen without a toy in tow—she’s never met one she didn’t love. Sweet, affectionate, and always up for a play, Luna is a cherished member of our team and a joy to everyone she meets!
